This position is for the current school year, with work to begin as soon as possible.

We are a charter school in Holladay, looking for a Classroom Assistant to work in a 1st grade class. This position involves being the assistant to a specific teacher. For assistants to specific teachers, the assistant is in that classroom for the duration of the shift. Duties will include intervening with students with behavior difficulties, helping students who need one-on-one help with class work, helping the teacher with lesson and material preparation (making copies, etc.), supervising students outside during recess, and can include stepping in to be the substitute lead teacher if the teacher needs to be out. The candidate should be willing to follow direction from the lead teacher, and should love working with children. The hours for the position are 8:15am to 2:30pm Monday through Thursday, 8:15am to 12:30pm on Fridays.

Pay: $ $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 29 per week
