Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Experience in hospitality or custodial services is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cleaning duties in guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Conduct thorough floor care, including vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces as needed.
  • Replace linens, towels, and toiletries in guest rooms while adhering to hotel standards.
  • Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any shortages or equipment needs to management.
  • Follow established housekeeping procedures for safety and efficiency.
  • Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned by housekeeping management.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while performing all tasks.

Skills

  • Proven experience in cleaning roles such as hotel housekeeping or custodial services is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of housekeeping management practices and floor care techniques.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify areas that require cleaning or maintenance.
  • Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time efficiently.
  • Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals is a plus.
  • A commitment to providing exceptional hospitality service at all times.

Details:

  • Contractor-style/On Call position (not full-time or hourly)
  • Airbnb cleaning, amount of jobs assigned per week based on amount of guest reservations
  • Pay based on home size and tasks completed
  • Extra pay for dry runs or additional cleaning needs
  • Uniform and toiletries provided
  • Training provided
