Job Description

As a Security Guard - Healthcare Patrol Driver in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any suspicious behavior or activities to the appropriate personnel.Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas as directed by site-specific requirements.Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.Assist with crowd control and/or visitor management during high-traffic times or special events within the healthcare location.Collaborate with site staff and law enforcement as needed to address security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.Must be at least 21 years of age.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
