Job Overview

Seeking a motivated Sales Manager in Training to join our growing lawn care company. This role is designed for individuals who want to develop leadership skills while learning all aspects of sales, customer acquisition, and team management in the home services industry.

The Sales Manager in Training will work closely with experienced sales leaders to learn how to generate new business, manage a sales team, and drive revenue growth.

What You'll Learn & Do

  • Learn and execute the company's lawn care sales process
  • Generate new customer accounts through field sales and lead follow-up
  • Conduct in-home or on-site service estimates and close new business
  • Train alongside sales managers to learn team leadership and coaching
  • Assist with onboarding and mentoring entry-level sales or marketing reps
  • Track sales activity, performance metrics, and customer data
  • Support local marketing and seasonal sales campaigns

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework preferred)
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or field marketing preferred
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Coachable, goal-oriented, and motivated to advance into management
  • Comfortable working outdoors and interacting with homeowners
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
