Sales Lead – Inside Sales
Compensation: Base: $12,000 - $24,000 per year + commission + performance incentives
Location: New Orleans, LA (in-office role)
About Us
Container Companies LLC is a fast-growing shipping container sales and logistics company. We provide customers with new and used containers for storage, dwelling, and nationwide delivery. As we expand nationally, we're looking for a strong Sales Lead to drive container sales, manage high-quality leads, and help scale our inside sales team.
Position Overview
We are seeking an ambitious Sales Lead with proven inside sales experience to manage inbound and outbound leads, close deals, and mentor team members. This is an remote role requiring a leader who thrives on fast-paced sales cycles, has experience in CRM systems, and is motivated to hit and exceed targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle: from initial lead contact to closing deals.
- Manage and respond to inbound leads within seconds/minutes using workflows.
- Proactively reach out to warm prospects, follow up consistently, and nurture long-term customer relationships.
- Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly container sales targets.
- Develop and refine sales scripts, objection handling, and closing strategies.
- Track sales activities, pipeline, and performance metrics in HubSpot or similar CRM.
- Collaborate with leadership on pricing strategies, promotions, and market expansion.
- Assist in training, mentoring, and setting performance standards for junior sales staff as the team grows.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years inside sales experience with proven success in closing deals.
- Proficiency with CRMs (required).
- Strong phone, email, and digital communication skills.
- Ability to manage a high volume of leads efficiently and effectively.
- Highly organized, results-driven, and detail-oriented.
- Experience in logistics, equipment sales, or construction-related industries preferred (shipping container knowledge a plus).
- Must be available to work full-time in-office.
Compensation & Growth
- Base salary $12,000 – $24,000, plus commissions and performance incentives.
- OTE (On Target Earnings) $45,000 – $ 65,000+ annually.
- Opportunities for growth into Sales Manager / Director of Sales as the company scales.
