Job Summary:

Accurate is looking for Foreman to join our growing team. The ideal candidate for our Foreman role contributes to company goals by communicating effectively, installing quality work, and always being respectful in the treatment of the customer and their homes. The Foreman will function as a working supervisor, acting as team lead for installers as you work together to get the job done. You will be responsible for the overall progress of assigned projects.

Duties/ Requirements:

  • Partners with Installers to complete assigned projects by performing work, assigning tasks, and ensuring company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines are followed
  • Coaches and train Installers on proper handling of materials, tools, and equipment
  • Inspects equipment before and after use to ensure it's in good working order
  • Drives heavy equipment to complete tasks at the construction site
  • Tracks scheduled maintenance of equipment and notifying Manager if maintenance is past due
  • Cleans equipment after use and disposing of any collected scraps or waste
  • Completes minor repair work as needed
  • Oversees your own workflow along with that of designated installers, to move jobs to completion at a pace to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality
  • Assesses conditions of the job once on-site; plan time allotment, equipment needed, and sequence of tasks to delegate workload for installers and themselves accordingly
  • Adjusts for conditions, makes minor changes from original job order, troubleshoots situations, innovates process on the spot, to complete the job in a manner that meets company standards and timetables
  • Communicates with the customer throughout the job, to aid in understanding and enhance satisfaction with result
  • Delivers 5-star customer service experiences in all interactions with our customers
  • Provides customers with contact information and required paperwork at job completion
  • Communicates with Operations Manager, Construction Foreman, and Production Department regarding details of the job. Escalate concerns/ issues appropriately
  • Ensures all required paperwork is complete and accurate and distributed appropriately
  • Regular and punctual attendance: ability to work overtime as needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting a minimum of 60 lbs
  • Working in confined workspaces that may require crawling, kneeling, crouching
  • Standing for extended periods of time
  • Carrying, climbing, pulling, sitting, stooping
  • Ability to withstand working in different weather environments including extreme cold and heat

Work Experience/ Qualifications:

  • Construction experience, preferably the minimum of 2 years
  • Operation of heavy equipment, preferably 2 years
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures used to control heavy equipment
  • Ability to remain stationery in the seat or operating area of the equipment for prolonged periods
  • Strong oral communication
  • Basic writing skills
  • Use of mini excavator, helical piers, etc.

Other Requirements:

  • Must possess and maintain a clean, valid driver's license
  • Must have reliable transportation to base office daily
  • Strong work ethic
  • Heavy equipment certificate a plus
