Role & Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain dynamic on-premise and cloud-based network technologies including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
  • Configure and support enterprise Cisco environments, managing firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends to ensure network infrastructure remains competitive and secure.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning to ensure network resilience.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Cyber Security & Networking to align services with business requirements.
  • Follow established change management protocols to ensure successful network modifications.
  • Manage service provider relationships, addressing billing issues and ensuring service efficiency.
  • Ensure a stable network environment through system configuration design and standards enforcement.
  • Optimize network performance by addressing issues, scheduling upgrades, and enhancing operations.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal staff to maintain service levels and problem-resolution frameworks.
  • Generate regular reports on network status, focusing on performance and security compliance.
  • Oversee Managed Service Delivery efforts, including Incident and Problem Management.

Qualifications

  • Bring at least five years of experience in network administration.
  • Strong background and understanding of Meraki is a must
  • Experience with Cisco and preferably have a Cisco certification
  • Experience with Disaster recovery
  • Ideally hold certifications such as CCNA, Azure Network Engineer Associate, or Cisco Meraki Solutions Specialist.
  • Ability to travel regionally as needed
  • Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder
