About Us: Canton Family Dentistry is a patient-centered, friendly, and professional dental office committed to delivering high-quality dental care in a welcoming environment. We are open Monday through Thursday 9AM to 5PM with daily hour lunch break. We're currently seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, including but not limited to composite fillings, crowns, dental extractions, root canals, dentures, implant crowns, pediatrics, in chair whitening, exams, prophy and scaling and root planing.
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
  • Record treatment information in patient records, including taking blood pressure.
  • Provide excellent patient care and ensure comfort during visits
  • Maintain inventory and ensure clinical areas are well-stocked
  • Follow all OSHA and HIPAA guidelines
  • Working collaboratively with other clinical and front desk team members.
  • Willingness to learn front desk duties.
  • Daily punctuality and participation in daily huddle.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 months experience as a Dental Assistant in a dental office
  • Ohio Radiography certification
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Professional, reliable, and team-oriented
  • Experience with Eaglesoft is a plus
  • Willingness to learn front desk duties.
