We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Kitchen Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen spaces that meet the needs and preferences of our clients. You will work closely with customers to understand their vision, provide expert advice, and ensure a seamless design process from concept to completion. Your expertise in layout design, lighting design, and customer service will be crucial in delivering exceptional results.

Duties

  • Collaborate with clients to determine their kitchen design needs and preferences.
  • Create detailed kitchen layouts that optimize space and functionality.
  • Utilize basic math skills to calculate measurements and dimensions accurately.
  • Assist clients in selecting materials, finishes, and appliances that align with their vision.
  • Provide excellent customer service throughout the design process, addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and innovations in kitchen design.
  • Engage in outside sales activities to promote kitchen design services and generate new business opportunities.
  • Work closely with contractors and builders during renovation projects to ensure designs are executed accurately.

Experience

  • Proven experience in kitchen design or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong background in layout design, lighting design, and renovation processes.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Proficiency in English for effective communication with clients and team members.
  • Experience in outside sales is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with design software or tools is advantageous.
