What You'll Be Doing...

  • Design, develop, and test the manufacture of electrical equipment, including machinery controls, wiring, and lighting.
  • Evaluate the cost-effectiveness, reliability, and safety of specific design models.
  • Estimate project timelines and costs.
  • Simulate and test machine, structure, and system operations.
  • Investigate and test products from vendors and competitors.

The Right Candidate Has...

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent creativity, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Previous experience with computer applications and design software related to engineering.
  • A team player mentality with a keen eye for detail.
  • Basic leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings, and perform detailed calculations.
  • Ability to apply electrical theory principles in engineering projects.

No need for a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) license for this role, but readiness to dive into challenging projects is a must

Working Conditions...

  • First shift schedule: Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3 PM.
  • If converted to salary, range between $100,000 to $110,000.
