As we expand into the Hudson Valley region, we're looking for an experienced Lead Restoration Technician to join our team and help drive our mission forward.

Position Overview

The Lead Restoration Technician is a hands-on role responsible for managing residential and commercial restoration projects — including water, mold, fire, and storm damage — from start to finish. You'll lead a small crew, work directly with clients and adjusters, and ensure that all work meets the highest standards for safety, compliance, and quality.

Job Descrition/ Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and perform restoration work on-site for water, fire, mold, and storm damage
  • Supervise, train, and support technicians on job sites
  • Set up, monitor, and maintain restoration equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, HEPA machines)
  • Conduct inspections and moisture readings using meters and thermal imaging
  • Ensure proper PPE usage and adherence to OSHA and industry safety protocols
  • Accurately complete job documentation, including moisture logs and photo records
  • Maintain clear, professional communication with customers, property managers, and insurance adjusters
  • Keep job sites and company vehicles clean and organized
  • Participate in the on-call emergency response rotation

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in property restoration (water, mold, or fire damage)
  • IICRC certifications required (WRT, ASD, AMRT preferred)
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred
  • Mold remediation experience and knowledge of NYS regulations
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage small teams
  • Physically capable of working in challenging environments (attics, basements, crawlspaces, in full PPE)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Comfortable using mobile job management apps (training provided)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
