Our client, a leader in manufacturing machinery, is seeking a Manufacturing Assembly Technician to join their team. As a Manufacturing Assembly Technician, you will be part of the production support team, contributing to the assembly and testing of advanced machinery used in the woodworking industry . The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical skills, attention to detail and quality, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Manufacturing Assembly Technician Location: Poughkeepsie, NY Pay Range: $20-22 Shift: Monday–Thursday 6:00 AM–4:30 PM (4 ten-hour days) | Friday 6:00 AM–Noon (OT optional) What's the Job? Assemble machinery and subcomponents of machinery, integrating electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical components Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and assembly instructions Pull and prepare parts from inventory for upcoming builds Make adjustments, alignments, and minor repairs to ensure optimal machine operation Collaborate with engineers and technicians to troubleshoot and enhance build quality What's Needed? Strong mechanical ability, with experience in fixing engines, small equipment, or home projects Confidence in using hand and power tools accurately and safely Ability to read and understand blueprints or technical drawings Dependability, attention to detail, and pride in quality workmanship Problem-solving skills and a desire to improve processes What's in it for me?
