Responsibilities
Details of Research Project:
In this research project, the postdoctoral fellow will seek to determine the unique roles of actin filament regulatory proteins that are located at the pointed ends of the thin filaments in cardiac muscle. This will involve experiments ranging from single molecule to whole animal studies, plus the addition of bioinformatics expertise to evaluate data.
Technical Duties: (include any protocols)
The candidate will be involved in reconstituting Lmod2 Knockout mouse hearts, advanced immunofluorescence microscopy, RNASeq, Chip-Seq, western blotting, transfection, echocardiography, polymerization assays, tissue culture, as well as molecular biology and genetics approaches.

Compensation Statement
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $74, $80,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
