Construction Superintendent – Big Box Retail

We are looking for Traveling Superintendents with proven experience in Target store construction. Candidates must have a successful track record completing open-store remodels, Tenant Improvements, and renovations.

This is a travel-based position with assignments that may be regional or national, depending on project location and permitting approvals.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead all on-site construction activities from mobilization through closeout
  • Develop, update, and maintain project schedules
  • Supervise subcontractors and enforce performance standards
  • Maintain safety compliance and promote a clean job site
  • Coordinate materials, trades, and inspections
  • Monitor budget, progress, and quality control
  • Manage phasing and logistics for open-store remodels

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years as a Superintendent with a General Contractor
  • Target store construction experience required
  • Ability to travel regionally or nationally for projects
  • Strong field communication and coordination skills
  • Able to manage fast-paced builds to completion
  • Comfortable reading and interpreting construction plans/specs
  • OSHA 30 a plus
