DevSecOps Engineer

- Developing the DevSecOps and Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) architecture of small systems or subsystems of larger systems
- Selecting tools, technologies, and methodologies that support automated build, deploy, operation, and monitoring of systems
- Coordinating across cross-functional teams to remove impediments to CI/CD in order to accelerate capability delivery and increasing the quality and reliability of operational system
- Being ultimately responsible for the DevSecOps architecture of the sub-system
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or related IT discipline and 8 years of experience or Master's degree with 6 years of experience in relevant field, degree may be substituted with additional relevant industry experience and / or industry accepted training and certification
- Collaborate with team members to improve the company's engineering tools, systems and procedures, and data security
- Linux administration
- Network Infrastructure (BigIP F5, VPN, firewalls, TCP/IP, DNS, SFTP)
- Cloud infrastructure (AWS: EC2, VPC, Lambda, S3, EFS, ECR/ECS, Route53, IAM, RDS, Autoscaling, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, etc.)
- CI/CD and application build and deploy (Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, Xray, Jira, SonarCube)
- Experience with writing and troubleshooting code be it compiled, scripted, or otherwise
- Experience with Configuration management/Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)
- Automate manual operational work by using scripting or DevOps tools
- Conduct systems tests for security, performance, and availability
- Develop and maintain design, troubleshooting, and audit documentation
- Implement security measures that align with industry standards and meet the needs of the organization
- Active Sec+ or other CSWF certifications to start

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL

- Less than 10% (quarterly trip to Charleston, if not local, for PI Planning)
