Full Time Banquet Server

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a full time Banquet Server In this role you will be responsible for the setup and serving of food and beverages to guests at all banquet functions according to Resort standards.

As part of our leadership team, you'll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You'll deliver attentive, professional service during events, ensuring our guests feel valued and well-cared for. Your friendly demeanor and prompt responsiveness will help create a smooth, enjoyable experience for everyone in attendance.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Perform preparatory tasks and side work duties to ensure that guests are served promptly and efficiently.
  • Know how to read the banquet event orders (BEO's) and be familiar with the menu of the assigned function.
  • Serve guests according to resort standard in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
  • Clean up banquet space after the completion of the function and ensure that all equipment and supplies are stored and restocked properly.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.

What We're Looking For 

  • 1 year of experience in food service or the hospitality industry in a convention center or large hotel (over 500 room property) is preferred.
  • Prior experience as a server and set-up houseperson is preferred. 
  • General food and beverage knowledge, involving at least 1 year of front-of-the-house operations, is preferred.
  • To have the ability to work with clients, management and associates in a professional, friendly and courteous manner is critical.
  • Must be flexible to work long hours including weekends and holidays.
  • Bi-lingual skills are preferred but not required.
