Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team at Little Champs Therapy & Yoga in the US. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our mission by assisting licensed speech-language pathologists in delivering effective therapy services to children. Your contributions will help enhance the communication skills and overall well-being of our young clients.

Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed speech-language pathologists in implementing treatment plans for children.
  • Conduct therapy sessions under supervision, focusing on improving communication skills.
  • Monitor and document progress of clients during therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with parents and educators to support children's developmental goals.
  • Prepare materials and resources for therapy sessions.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss client progress and strategies.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment for children during therapy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences or a related field (required).
  • Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs (highly preferred).
  • Knowledge of speech therapy techniques and early intervention practices.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
  • Familiarity with IEP processes is a plus.
