Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front Desk Agent to join our team in providing exceptional guest experiences at our hotel. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, responsible for managing front desk operations, ensuring smooth check-ins and check-outs, and addressing guest inquiries with professionalism and courtesy. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and a passion for hospitality.

Duties

  • Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm welcome.
  • Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
  • Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications through various systems.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, providing accurate information about hotel services and local attractions.
  • Maintain front desk operations including managing multi-line phone systems.
  • Conduct night audits as required, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Assist with guest relations by addressing complaints or concerns in a timely manner.
  • Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Skills

  • Strong background in hospitality management with experience in hotel or resort settings.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in front desk operations including night audit procedures.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual or multilingual candidates are preferred.
  • Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A friendly demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive guest relations.
