The Information Technology team at Rubrik influences business processes, employee experience, and technologies to scale our organization to $1B+. This team creates operational efficiency across the company by centralizing the management of Infrastructure, Technology, and Data. The IT team ensures all stages of the software development lifecycle in a secured environment and scrutinizes the deployment of proper processes along with governance. They champion Rubrik on Rubrik and are the first customers of the Engineering teams at Rubrik.
Rubrik Corp IT is constructed of 100% SaaS and 0% on-premises. The IT team caters to accelerated enhancement of business value and multiple day-to-day business processes through our varied SaaS applications like , Oracle Netsuite, Workday, Snowflake, Etrade, jitterbit, Allocadia, etc. This team also delivers high-paced business outcomes with 100% system uptime backed by agile, nimble, simple, but cohesive Cloud architectures.
About The Role
A Senior IT Product Manager for Sales portfolio is responsible for driving the strategy and tech tool implementation that directly support the sales organization. This role involves leading cross-functional teams, defining product roadmaps, and ensuring successful product launches.
The Senior Product Manager also acts as a key liaison between Pre-sales, Sales, Commission, Product operation, Engineering and other stakeholders to ensure products meet the needs of the sales team.
What You'll Do
- Lead Product Strategy: Developing and driving the vision and execution of the Salesforce Sales processes and its integrations with other Sales and Commission applications.
- Process Optimization: Owning, optimizing, and continuously improving end-to-end business processes. This includes identifying process gaps, streamlining workflows, and implementing best practices.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Acting as a liaison between various teams including Channel, Sales operation, Commission, Finance, Engineering, and Revenue Operations to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure smooth execution of Sales initiatives.
- Technology Implementation and Integration: Overseeing the implementation and integration of Sales & Commission applications
- Roadmap Development: Defining and maintaining a product roadmap for Sales solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Requirements Management: Translating business requirements into detailed specifications (e.g., user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria) for development teams.
- Analytics and Reporting: Defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Sales & commission processes and leveraging data to drive continuous improvement.
- Change Management: Leading and supporting change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and tools across the organization.
Experience You'll Need
- Extensive Product Management Experience: 10+ years of experience as a Product Manager, preferably with direct ownership of Sales & Commission systems and good understanding of Quote to cash and Marketing applications
- Sales Process Expertise: Deep understanding of the entire Sales and Commission cycle, integration with Marketing, quoting, contract management and order management
- Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of the technology landscape related to Sales CRM systems
- Business Analysis Skills: Demonstrated ability to gather and analyze business requirements, identify process gaps, and translate them into actionable specifications.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute a strategic vision for Sales & Commission products, balancing big-picture thinking with attention to detail.
- Strong Communication and Collaboration Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, influence decisions, and drive consensus.
- Data Analysis Skills: Proficiency in analyzing data using tools like Excel or SQL to identify trends, measure performance, and inform decision-making.
- Problem Solving & Decision Making: Proven track record of solving complex problems, navigating competing priorities, and making sound decisions based on data and insights.
- Agile Methodology Experience: Familiarity with Agile principles and practices, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with CRM platforms like Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics etc
- Experience in a high-growth, enterprise software company.
- Knowledge of SOX compliance requirements
- Experience with process automation, Lean/Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
The minimum and maximum base salaries for this role are posted below; additionally, the role is eligible for bonus potential, equity and benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the role based on U.S. location. Within the range, the salary offered will be determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US Pay Range
$147,600—$221,400 USD
