Position Overview

We're seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee cleaning operations throughout Santa Barbara County, including Santa Barbara, Goleta, Carpinteria, Montecito, and surrounding areas. This person will act as the local leader for Neon Clean — managing client relationships, ensuring service quality, coordinating cleaners and schedules, and handling site walkthroughs and inspections.

The right candidate will be detail-oriented, professional, and confident in communicating with clients and managing cleaning teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform client walkthroughs for new and existing commercial cleaning accounts
  • Handle day-to-day operations for cleaning crews and schedules
  • Oversee job quality and ensure every facility meets Neon Clean's professional standards
  • Communicate with clients to address needs, feedback, and service updates
  • Support hiring, training, and coordination of cleaning technicians
  • Report job performance metrics and client satisfaction to company leadership
  • Manage supplies, equipment needs, and scheduling adjustments
  • Assist with quotes, site inspections, and service recommendations

Compensation

This is a contracted, commission-based position. You'll receive a percentage of each job's profit for accounts you manage and oversee.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in operations, janitorial management, or team supervision (preferred)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple commercial accounts simultaneously
  • Professional appearance and demeanor for client walkthroughs
  • Must have reliable transportation and smartphone
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
