We are looking for dedicated team members who are passionate about customer service and food preparation. As part of our team, you will be essential in providing excellent customer service and ensuring high-quality food preparation. Your commitment to maintaining a safe and sanitary environment is highly valued and appreciated. Here are the core responsibilities for the role:

  1. Customer Service: including greeting customers, suggestive selling, counting back change, and closing the sale with thank you and an offer to return to the store again soon.

  2. Prepare food items from the kitchen in accordance with the established portion sizes, quality, and task as designed. For example, prepare sandwiches and salads according to the portion sizes and recipes provided.

  3. Maintain the kitchen, kitchen equipment, and food area in a safe and sanitary condition at all times. Follow proper handwashing procedures and report any sanitation hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.

  4. Be familiar with all food and drink preparation procedures as assigned.

  5. Take food and drink orders and receive payment from customers.

  6. Clean, stock, and restock workstations and display cases. This includes cleaning coffee machines, restocking shelves, and ensuring restrooms are sanitized regularly.

  7. Receive incoming products, check against invoices, and correspond with vendors.

  8. Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as griddles or ovens.

  9. Follow all Health Department standards.

  10. Know the procedures to be followed in the coffee area, fountain area, restrooms, food service area, coolers, sales floor, and parking lot.

  11. Clean and maintain store, bathroom, and parking lot appearances and cleanliness.

  12. Follow lottery, tobacco and alcohol sales rules, laws, and regulations in accordance with Allen County & Indiana Laws.

  13. Uphold and promote All-American Stores mission, vision, and values.
