Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring they receive exceptional service and support throughout their automotive repair experience. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive systems and excellent communication skills to effectively address customer needs and provide accurate information regarding services.

Duties

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their automotive needs.
  • Provide detailed explanations of services required, including auto estimating for repairs.
  • Manage service appointments and maintain effective communication with customers regarding the status of their vehicles.
  • Collaborate with technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and timely completion of repairs.
  • Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
  • Promote additional services such as oil changes, brake repairs, and maintenance based on customer needs.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or questions regarding services rendered.

Skills

  • Proficiency in auto estimating and understanding of automotive repair processes, including shocks struts, oil change, brake repair and engine repair.
  • Experience in auto service management to efficiently oversee service operations.
  • Strong sales skills to effectively promote services and products to customers.
  • Excellent cash handling abilities to manage transactions accurately.
  • Exceptional communication skills to explain technical information clearly to customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
