Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, including commercial, industrial, and residential settings. This role is essential for ensuring a safe and pleasant atmosphere for both employees and clients.

Duties

  • Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces.
  • Execute floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
  • Conduct janitorial and custodial duties to ensure all facilities are clean and well-maintained.
  • Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
  • Participate in facilities maintenance activities to support overall operational efficiency.
  • Provide porter services by managing waste disposal and maintaining cleanliness in public areas.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.

Experience

  • Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment is advantageous.
  • Experience in floor care techniques, including buffing and maintenance of various flooring types.
  • Knowledge of residential painting or facilities maintenance is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
