Lunds & Byerlys Meat & Seafood Culinary Professionals is a full-time training program designed to provide the skills, knowledge, and experience you need to build a successful leadership career in our Meat & Seafood department. Lunds & Byerlys' Meat & Seafood departments are a meal-time destination for sustainably sourced, Best in Class, and patented meat and seafood choices. No formal experience required

You will:

Spend time in our classroom training facility learning a variety of skills and knowledge from experts across the organizationTravel to our research and development kitchen at our manufacturing facility in Eden Prairie to learn about meat preparation from our Best in Class Chefs, including seasoning, cooking styles, and food pairings.Visit our partners at J&B, The Fish Guys, and others to experience all phases of processing and production and broaden understanding of the Meat & Seafood industry.Travel to various Lunds & Byerlys locations to learn from and shadow different Meat & Seafood teams to understand our company culture, get to know our customers, and understand department operations. Master the skills and knowledge required to be a Meat & Seafood leader at Lunds & Byerlys.

We will:

Provide high-quality, personalized, and actionable learning and development experiences.Provide an opportunity to set yourself up for a stable, long term, progressive career with a Best in Class local union employer

Schedule: This is a full-time, 40 hour a week opportunity. During the first 30-days in this position, your schedule will be Monday-Friday. Following the first 30-days your schedule will mirror the experienced Meat & Seafood employee you are shadowing, which could shifts ranging from Monday-Sunday 6:00am-10:00pm. Schedules are provided two weeks in advance.



Compensation: During your time as a program participant, you will earn $21.50/hour. Upon successful completion of training program, you will earn $23.50/hour.
