Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Breakfast Attendant to join our hospitality team. This role is essential in delivering exceptional guest experiences by ensuring a clean, welcoming, and efficiently operated breakfast service area. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to guest satisfaction. Previous experience in kitchen operations, food preparation, or hospitality is preferred but not required. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary and customer service skills within a dynamic environment.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve breakfast items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and equipment, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Restock supplies such as utensils, condiments, and food items to ensure smooth service flow.
  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service, addressing any special dietary needs or requests.
  • Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions accurately.
  • Assist with bussing tables and clearing dishes to maintain a tidy dining environment.
  • Support catering or banquet setups when required, including food preparation and presentation.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling, storage, and sanitation.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy breakfast hours.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality is preferred; experience with kitchen operations or food preparation is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to provide excellent guest services.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work mornings during breakfast hours; weekend availability may be required.
  • Basic cleaning skills and experience with bussing tables are beneficial.
