Data Entry

Discount Forklift – Headquarters

Data Entry position and will report directly to the Accounting Manager.

Position Summary:

Data Entry is an Excel and QuickBooks Expert and motivated and detail oriented to support the accounting department with Data Entry. The Data Entry is responsible for managing the day-to-day data entry functions in Excel and QuickBooks and provides support services including but not limited to the General Duties and Responsibilities listed below.

General Duties and Responsibilities:


• Has strong skills in reconciliations especially in Cash and credit card and data entry into QuickBooks.


• Perform mid-level general ledger account reconciliations and verify accuracy of data.


• Support timely monthly end financial close, including but not limited to; assigned journal entries, accruals, and overall maintenance of all operational management accounts


• Completes other tasks/duties as assigned.

Requirements:


• Two years of functional accounting experience


• Proficient use of applicable technology to include QuickBooks and Excel


• Able to work in team environment


• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of an organization, both internally and externally


• Professionalism and the ability to be discreet with confidential and sensitive issues.


• Ability to handle multiple tasks, projects, and meet deadlines.


• Hours may vary (typical work week = 40 hours)


• Position requires prolonged standing, sitting, bending, stooping, twisting, and repetitive hand and wrist motion.


• Operate phones, computers, fax machines, copiers, and other office equipment.


• Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone and in person

Benefits include 40 hours accrued vacation, 48 hours accrued sick time, after 90-day probation Health/supplemental insurance along with 6 paid Holidays.

Compensation details:
20-25 Hourly Wage
