The Grant Administrator for an educational grant is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management, compliance, and reporting associated with the grant's implementation. This role ensures that all grant activities align with the funder's requirements, program objectives, and institutional goals. The ideal candidate has a strong background in grant administration, financial management, and program evaluation. This is a Full Time Grant Funded Position and is subject to the terms and conditions of the grant.Essential Duties:
- Ensure all grant-funded activities comply with funder requirements, federal/state regulations, and institutional policies.
- Monitor and manage grant budgets, ensuring expenditures align with approved funding guidelines.
- Maintain organized records of grant documentation, communications, contracts, and amendments.
- Prepare and submit timely financial and progress reports to funding agencies and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with finance to process invoices, reimbursements, and payroll related to grant activities.
- Partner with program staff and stakeholders to implement grant initiatives effectively and meet objectives.
- Serve as the primary liaison between NWACC and funding agencies, facilitating clear communication.
- Track performance metrics and compile narrative summaries for reporting and evaluation purposes.
- Stay current on changes in grant policies, regulations, and reporting requirements to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Lead grant close-out activities, including final reporting, financial reconciliation, and outcome evaluation.
- All other duties as assigned.
Rate of Pay: $48,671 annualized *Higher compensation may be considered based on qualifications directly related to position.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, Public Administration, or a related field
- 1 year experience in grant management
Other job related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements, except for certification or licensure requirements, upon approval of the qualification review committee.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Education, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in grant administration, program management, or financial oversight.
- Experience with educational grants and federal/state funding sources is highly desirable.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Should be able to work effectively with employees and all levels of leadership within the institution
- Must be proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio) and HRIS systems
- The successful candidate must be a self-starter who takes accountability for performance while requiring minimal supervision
- Must be able to handle highly confidential material efficiently and effectively
- Must possess strong time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills
- Ability to build relationships with individuals and teams across the institution and campus
- Ability to analyze information and recommend appropriate action
- Knowledge of planning, research, and analysis techniques and procedures
- Knowledge of department, operations, policies, and procedures
- Ability to conduct research and perform quantitative quality assurance reviews
- Ability to research, prepare, and present comprehensive written and oral reports
- Ability to organize and conduct meetings and workshops
- Knowledge of state and federal personnel laws, policies, and procedures
- Must be able to report clear, concise and accurate ad-hoc reports to all levels of leadership
