Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service with a positive attitude.
  • Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities.
  • Assist customers with product selection by offering knowledgeable advice on merchandise and store layout.
  • Handle cash handling duties with accuracy while maintaining excellent phone etiquette when responding to inquiries.
  • Support merchandising efforts by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the store remains inviting and well-maintained.
  • Engage in retail math tasks such as calculating discounts, totals, and change to ensure precise transactions.
  • Promote store promotions and upsell products or services to enhance the customer's shopping experience.
  • Maintain clear communication with team members regarding stock levels, customer needs, and store updates.
  • Assist in inventory management by participating in stocking routines and inventory counts as needed.
  • Provide bilingual support if applicable to serve a diverse customer base effectively.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in basic math skills for cash handling and retail calculations.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are essential
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently and professionally.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for transactions and inventory tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Bilingual abilities are highly valued for serving diverse communities effectively.
  • Supervising experience or previous leadership roles are beneficial but not mandatory; leadership qualities are appreciated for growth opportunities.
