About the Internship

Inflection AI is seeking talented and passionate
technical interns
for our
Summer 2026 Internship Program
. This is an 8–12 week immersive experience, with start dates on either
June 1 or June 15, 2026
.

As an intern, you will:

• Work closely with an experienced mentor and engineering team.
• Collaborate on a high-impact technical project in areas such as ML engineering, infrastructure, data science, or AI systems.
• Gain hands-on exposure to frontier AI development at a fast-moving startup.

Eligibility

• Must be able to work on site in Palo Alto five days a week.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. program in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• Strong academic performance and a demonstrated passion for AI.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Previous internship, research, or project experience in AI, ML, or related fields is a plus.

Employee Pay Disclosures

For Summer 2026,
technical interns will receive monthly pay equivalent to an hourly rate of $50–$65
, depending on education level and experience. Compensation will be disbursed monthly for the duration of the program.

Interview Process

Our goal is to keep the process transparent, efficient, and respectful of your time. Most candidates can expect:

1. *Recruiter Conversation (30 minutes)*
   – An introductory call to learn more about your background, interests, and career goals, and to share details about Inflection AI and our internship program.
2. *Technical Interviews (2 rounds, 45–60 minutes each, virtual)*
   – Focused on coding, problem-solving, and applied technical questions relevant to your area of interest.
3. *Mentor/Team Conversation (30 minutes, virtual)*
   – A final conversation with a potential mentor or team member to discuss collaboration style, learning goals, and project fit.
4. *Decision & Offer*
   – We strive to provide outcomes within one week of the final interview.

All interviews are conducted virtually. We aim to move quickly and provide a positive, clear process from start to finish.
