Warehouse Associate – Luxury Rare Wine

At Grand Cru Liquid Assets, we manage a luxury wine inventory worth thousands per bottle — and we need a reliable, detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to help us pick, pack, and ship orders flawlessly to our domestic and international clients.

You'll receive and inspect incoming wine collections, organize inventory in our temperature-controlled cellar, and prepare packages for safe, secure delivery. This is hands-on work — moving wine cases (up to 50 lbs), using inventory software (we'll train you), and occasionally driving our company truck for local deliveries.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately pick and pack wine orders, ensuring the correct bottles are selected and handled with extreme care.
  • Prepare and assemble packages in bulk, optimizing for safe and efficient shipping of high-value inventory.
  • Organize and sort products within our temperature-controlled warehouse, maintaining an efficient and logical storage system.
  • Safely carry and move wine cases (up to 50 lbs) for sorting, organizing, and loading/unloading tasks.
  • Potential opportunity to generate and print shipping labels accurately for various carriers and destinations.
  • Utilize and maintain inventory management software to track stock movement, locations, and order status.
  • Assist with the receiving and inspection of incoming wine shipments, verifying quantities and assessing bottle condition.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, ensuring a safe and optimal environment for wine storage.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with discrepancy resolution.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, including sending internal emails using Microsoft Outlook.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including a pallet jack and forklift (if certified).
  • Drive the company truck for local product deliveries to customers.

Requirements:

  • High School Education, or higher
  • Ability to lift heavy items (75 lbs)
  • Forklift certification (preferred)
  • Warehouse experience
  • Comfortable handling fragile and valuable inventory
  • Comfortable using a tape gun and box cutter
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work independently while following instructions
  • Organized and pays attention to details
  • Computer skills: ability to use inventory software and email
  • Proficient in English communication: writing, reading, and speaking
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed
  • Clean background check and drug test, according to local state regulations
  • Clean driving record and driver's license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
