As an Account Manager, you will be the driving force behind our client relationships, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded. Your role will involve managing a diverse portfolio of accounts, engaging in outside sales, and spearheading business development initiatives. You will leverage your expertise in B2B sales and account management to foster long-lasting partnerships while utilizing cutting-edge technology and CRM software to streamline processes. What you'll do
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Drive outside sales efforts by generating leads through cold calling, networking, and territory management.
- Conduct product demos to showcase our offerings and tailor solutions to meet client needs.
- Collaborate to develop strategies that enhance brand visibility and attract new business.
- Utilize Salesforce and other CRM software to track account activities, manage pipelines, and analyze sales data for informed decision-making.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure mutual satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless experience for clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
Basic qualifications
- Proven experience in account management or a related field with a focus on B2B sales.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals successfully.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage clients effectively.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in technology sales or technical sales environments.
- Familiarity with lead generation techniques and strategies for effective territory sales.
- Proficiency in analysis skills to assess market trends and client needs.
