Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Order Entry Clerk to join our administrative team. This role is essential for maintaining accurate order processing and ensuring seamless communication between customers and internal departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, experience with databases and ERP systems, and excellent organizational abilities to support efficient operations within our office environment.

Duties

  • Accurately input customer orders into databases and ERP systems, ensuring data integrity and completeness
  • Manage data entry tasks including typing, transcription, and updating order information
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, track order statuses, and generate reports
  • Maintain organized filing systems for order documents and related records
  • Collect and verify data related to orders, shipments, and inventory levels
  • Assist with clerical tasks such as data collection, filing, and document management
  • Support office operations through administrative tasks including scheduling, correspondence, and record keeping
  • Ensure timely processing of orders while adhering to organizational procedures and deadlines

Qualifications

  • Proven experience with office administration, clerical work, or data entry roles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including creating pivot tables and managing spreadsheets
  • Familiarity with databases and ERP systems for order processing
  • Strong typing skills with high accuracy; experience in transcription is a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Basic math skills for verifying quantities and calculations within orders
  • Knowledge of office software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous experience in order entry or administrative support roles preferred but not required
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data accuracy and confidentiality
