Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development and a genuine love for working with young children. As a Infant Teacher, you will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes learning and growth for our students. You will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, managing classroom activities, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in your care.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of infant children.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and social interaction among students.
  • Manage classroom activities effectively to ensure smooth transitions between lessons and playtime.
  • Provide individualized attention to students, addressing their unique needs and learning styles.
  • Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other educators and staff to create a cohesive educational experience for students.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education.
  • Strong classroom management skills to maintain an organized and productive learning environment.
  • Familiarity with special education practices is a plus.
  • Ability to provide toddler care and support caregiving needs as required.
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred or must be obtained upon hire.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
