ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports and demonstrates IMA's core values

  • Interact professionally and timely with clients via email and phone
  • MARKETING/RFPs
  • Prepares RFP for all fully insured submissions to market with Account Executive guidance
  • Collect and manage proposals
  • Update marketing results into spreadsheet to be reviewed by Account Executive
  • RENEWALS
  • Request renewals for all lines of coverage
  • Responsible to ensure target renewal release dates are met by carriers
  • Initial review of all fully insured lines of coverage preparing for Account Executive review
  • PARTNERSHIP & NEGOTIATION
  • Take direction from Account Executive in all negotiations
    with carriers
  • Build relationship with carrier and vendor partners
  • REPORTING
  • Manage outsourcing and ensure reporting needs are met
  • Update monthly claims report for clients
  • SYSTEMS/TECHNOLOGY
  • Maintain & utilize appropriate systems for job functions as determined by department

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • Up to 2 years of similar or related experience
  • Prefer college graduate, 2-year degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficient with MS Office Suites with intermediate skills required
  • Attain Life and Health license & maintain through continuing education requirements
  • Limited travel required (less than 25%)
  • Analyze and interpret data
  • Effectively manages multiple projects while meeting timelines
  • Handle confidential information with tact and discretion
  • Excellent organizational and reasoning skills
