The Role
As a Cybersecurity Sales Representative, you will own the full sales cycle for new MSSP clients—from cold outreach to close. You'll leverage our pre-qualified lead lists, proven messaging, and best-in-class solutions to book meetings, deliver compelling presentations, and win business. This is a high-activity, high-reward role for a self-starter who thrives on results.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute 150+ outbound cold calls per week using our pre-cleaned, targeted prospect lists (C-level, IT directors, MSP owners).
- Qualify leads, book discovery calls, and conduct virtual/in-person presentations.
- Manage all activity in our CRM with accuracy and timeliness.
- Build pipeline through consistent follow-up (email, LinkedIn, phone).
- Close new MSSP contracts with 12-month terms.
- Collaborate with technical teams for solution scoping and proposals.
- Meet or exceed monthly quotas for calls, meetings booked, and revenue closed.
Required Skills & Traits
- Proven cold-calling discipline – 150+ dials/week is non-negotiable.
- Professional communication – clear, confident, and executive-level.
- Presentation mastery – ability to demo value to non-technical decision-makers.
- CRM proficiency – experience logging calls, notes, and next steps (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.).
- Time management & self-motivation – no hand-holding; you own your calendar.
- Social intelligence – quickly build rapport and read the room.
- Cybersecurity curiosity – you don't need to be a technician, but you must learn fast and speak the language of risk, compliance, and ROI.
Preferred (not required):
- 1–3 years B2B sales (IT/MSP/MSSP a plus)
- Familiarity with SOC, EDR, vulnerability management, or vCISO services
- Existing network in North Texas
What Success Looks LikeMonth 1–3 (Trial Period):
- 600+ total dials | 30+ qualified meetings booked | 1–2 closed deals
- Full CRM adoption | Positive feedback from prospects & leadership
Post-Trial (Permanent):
- $10K–$20K+ monthly recurring revenue (MRR) quota
- 6–8 new clients per quarter
- Eligible for uncapped commissions + benefits
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $30,000-$50,000 (commensurate with experience)
- Commission: Uncapped – 10–15% of first-year contract value
- Trial Period: 3 months – full base, no benefits
- After Trial: Full benefits (health, dental, 401(k), PTO, remote flex, etc.)
- Top performers earn $120K–$200K+ Year 1
