The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates ( MFA ) is seeking multiple full-time faculty members in the Department of Dermatology. The MFA is an independent, non-profit clinical practice group affiliated with the George Washington University. The Department of Dermatology faculty are committed to patient care; cohesive and focused team building; administrative leadership; resident, fellow, and medical student education; and scholarly activities that advance clinical medicine. This non-tenure-track appointment will be made at a rank (Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) and salary commensurate with experience.
Specific Duties And Responsibilities
Responsibilities include providing patient care; teaching medical students and residents in a variety of clinical and didactic settings; and maintaining an active research program. Opportunities to collaborate in clinical/translational research, attend regional and national conferences, participate in national didactic webcasts, and take advantage of the unique resources of the Washington, DC area are available.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must have an MD or equivalent degree, be Board-eligible or Board-certified in Dermatology at the time of appointment, and be eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia and Maryland.
