Clinical Director of Rehabilitation

Mission Statement:
The Clinical Director of Rehabilitation will lead and manage rehabilitation services that enhance patient outcomes, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of clinical excellence, innovation, staff engagement, and compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of rehabilitation services (PT, OT, ST).
- Provide direct patient care as needed while serving in a leadership capacity.
- Recruit, onboard, mentor, and evaluate therapy staff to build a high-performing team.
- Ensure compliance with CMS, state, and accreditation standards.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets efficiently.
- Implement, monitor, and evaluate quality improvement programs to enhance patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation, billing practices, and regulatory records.
- Lead strategic initiatives to advance patient care, satisfaction, and therapy service growth.
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and discharge planning meetings to optimize patient outcomes.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, professional development, and innovation among therapy staff.

- Use performance metrics to assess, improve, and innovate rehabilitation services.
- Implement quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Current and active license as Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist Assistant, Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, or Speech Language Pathologist.
- Clinical experience in a skilled care rehabilitation setting.
- Proven leadership experience managing therapy teams is preferred.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and quality improvement.
- Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and organizational skills.
