Overview

The Solution Architect will be responsible for translating business requirements into scalable, robust, and cost-effective technical solutions. This role requires extensive experience in architecting complex systems using microservices, modern front-end technologies, and cloud services, with a mandatory background in
Property and Casualty insurance
.

Required Technical & Domain Skills

  • Mandatory P&C Experience:
    Deep and mandatory domain expertise in
    Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance
    processes, systems, and data models.
  • Architecture Experience:
    12+ years of overall IT experience
    , with at least
    4+ years specifically as a Solution Architect
    within the insurance industry.
  • Technology Stack:
    Required hands-on experience with:
  • Backend:
    .NET
    and
    Microservices
    architecture.
  • Cloud:
    Azure
    platform services.
  • Frontend:
    React
    .
  • Database:
    PostgreSQL
    .
  • AI Exposure:
    Familiarity with AI tools, applications, or concepts relevant to the insurance industry.
  • Platform Experience:
    Hands-on architectural experience with major insurance platforms such as
    Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco
    , or similar P&C systems.
  • Enterprise Integration:
    Strong expertise in enterprise integration patterns (
    SOAP/REST APIs, ESBs
    ) and designing
    event-driven architecture
    .
  • Cloud & DevOps:
    Experience with various cloud platforms (AWS,
    Azure
    , GCP), containers (
    Docker, Kubernetes
    ), and modern DevOps practices.
  • Certification/Frameworks:
    Familiarity with data architecture, analytics, regulatory compliance in insurance, and architecture frameworks like
    TOGAF
    is a plus.
  • Digital Insurance:
    Experience with modern digital insurance technologies, including chatbots, telematics,
    AI/ML
    , and customer self-service portals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and architecture of complex P&C insurance solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and enterprise standards.
  • Define technical standards, patterns, and best practices for development teams utilizing .NET, Azure, React, and Microservices.
  • Drive the adoption of best-in-class integration methods, cloud services, and DevOps pipelines.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams across design, development, and deployment phases.
  • Ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements including security, performance, scalability, and regulatory compliance.
