Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong background in food service. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and sanitation.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
  • Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to enhance the guest experience.
  • Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables, adhering to proper serving techniques.
  • Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation.
  • Maintain knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in accordance with health regulations.
  • Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to enhance guest relations.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable systems is a plus.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
  • Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is beneficial.
  • Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in sanitation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
