Key responsibilities
- Team leadership and development: Hire, train, and develop staff; schedule shifts; resolve performance issues; and foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Restaurant operations: Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and ensuring the restaurant is clean and well-organized.
- Financial management: Manage the store's financial performance, including profit and loss (P&L), sales forecasting, and controlling costs.
- Food safety and quality: Enforce all food safety policies and procedures to ensure the preparation of safe, delicious food.
- Guest experience: Deliver a great customer experience, resolve customer incidents, and work to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Marketing and community engagement: Implement local marketing strategies, such as community engagement and fundraisers.
- Problem-solving: Handle unexpected issues, such as equipment breakdowns or customer complaints.
Required skills and qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service management experience
- Strong business acumen, including P&L management, sales forecasting, and staffing
- Passion for leadership and team development
- A strong focus on customer service
- Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Effective communication skills in the local language
