Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Columbia, MD, for a Digital Marketing Account Specialist. The role involves managing client accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service, and acting as a key communication liaison between clients and internal teams. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining client relationships, collaborating on digital marketing initiatives, overseeing project timelines, and supporting clients in achieving their marketing goals.

Qualifications

Essential skills are a strong mix of technical proficiencies like SEO, SEM, and analytics, alongside soft skills such as communication, project management, and creative thinking.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree:
     A degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is a plus.
  • Alternative Pathways:
     It is possible to gain qualifications through extensive experience, online courses, and certifications in lieu of or in addition to a degree.

Experience

  • Years of Experience:
     Typically requires 2-3 years of experience in a digital marketing role.
  • Campaign Management:
     Proven experience in developing and executing digital marketing campaigns is key.
  • Specific areas:
     Experience with SEO, SEM, social media advertising, and email marketing is highly valued.

Technical skills

  • Analytics and Reporting:
     Proficiency with tools like Google Analytics to analyze data, understand metrics, and report on performance.
  • SEO and SEM:
     A strong understanding of search engine optimization and search engine marketing is crucial.
  • Advertising Platforms:
     Experience with paid advertising, such as Google Ads and social media ads (Facebook, LinkedIn).
  • Marketing Automation:
     Knowledge of tools for managing customer relationships and automated campaigns.
