Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated, friendly and detail-oriented Pest Control Service Technician to join our team.

We're not kidding when we say you must be friendly, authentic, and enjoy people. This isn't just the pest control industry, its the customer service industry.

The ideal candidate will provide effective pest control solutions, build strong customer relationships, and maintain our high standards of service. If you enjoy problem-solving, working independently, and value great customer service, this role is for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Important: Communicate with clients to explain services, answer questions, and provide recommendations. Be friendly, and develop good relationships with clients.
  • Inspect properties to identify pest infestations, entry points, and damage.
  • Develop and implement customized treatment plans to eliminate and prevent pests.
  • Apply pesticides and other pest control methods safely and in compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed and materials used.
  • Operate and maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good condition.
  • Stay up to date on pest control techniques, products, and industry standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal pest control laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in customer service.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills. This is absolutely crucial, you must enjoy people.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Physically capable of performing tasks such as lifting (25 lbs), bending, and climbing ladders.
  • Willingness to obtain or maintain necessary certifications or licenses (e.g., state pesticide applicator license).
  • Previous pest control or related experience is a plus but not required; we provide training.
