Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Restoration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for restoring properties affected by fire, water, mold, and other damages. This role requires hands-on work in various environments, utilizing specialized tools and techniques to ensure safe and effective restoration. Prior experience in the restoration industry is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals with relevant skills. The Restoration Technician plays a vital role in helping clients recover from property damage and return their spaces to a safe, clean, and functional condition.

Duties

  • Perform water damage restoration, fire restoration, mold remediation as needs.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools for demolition, cleaning, and repair tasks.
  • Conduct carpet cleaning and other surface cleaning procedures to restore property appearance.
  • Assist with construction-related activities such as minor repairs and rebuilding efforts.
  • Operate specialized equipment for moisture detection, air filtration, and debris removal.
  • Implement cleaning protocols using appropriate techniques for different types of damage.
  • Follow safety procedures during all restoration activities to ensure personal and team safety.
  • Document work performed and communicate progress with project managers and clients.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in the restoration industry or related fields such as construction or cleaning is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of fire restoration, water damage restoration, mold remediation, and carpet cleaning is preferred.
  • Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and other specialized equipment safely and effectively.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols related to mold handling and hazardous materials.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of restoration work.
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, crawling, and working in confined spaces.
  • Valid driver's license is preferred for travel between job sites.
