Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cashier/Sales team member to join our store. This position is essential in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth checkout experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a passion for helping others.

Duties

  • Operate the cash register efficiently and accurately while handling cash transactions.
  • Assist customers with their purchases, providing information about products and promotions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to enhance the shopping experience.
  • Stock shelves and ensure that products are displayed attractively and replenished as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the store.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate cash handling and change distribution.

Experience

  • MUST BE 21 OR OLDER.
  • Previous experience as a cashier or in a sales role is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills are essential.
  • Experience in a similar environment is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
