Intake Reimbursement Specialist

Position Overview:

We have a great career opportunity for you. Our Insurance Intake Specialist plays a critical role in the pharmacy process by ensuring that all patient and insurance billing information is accurate. This position is located in North Canton Ohio. At Absolute, we are in the business of serving people and offer the best in customer service to all of our customers. We are looking for individual with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment.

Schedule:

  • Our pharmacy Intake department is open from 7:30am to 5:30 Monday through Friday

Requirements:

  • State registration required upon hire
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification must be obtained within 1 year of hire
  • Basic experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Email, Jabber
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong multitasking abilities
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented
  • Able to work well independently and within a team
  • Ability to work with communicate with our customers regarding pharmacy and insurance billing

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Verify insurance and patient information for accuracy
  • Ensure prescriptions are billed to the correct payer source
  • Respond to incoming calls from facilities, guarantors, and insurance companies
  • Perform other duties as assigned
