Job Overview

Bartender needed for the following times: Every other Saturday night 5p - close and Sunday day shift (same weekend) 11:30am to 4p. Must have bartender experience or cash register serving experience. Tips and Free bowling. Experience preferred and HS education.

We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, creating memorable experiences for guests through exceptional service, expert drink preparation, and a lively atmosphere. Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and take drink orders with enthusiasm, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, following established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently while managing cash handling responsibilities.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling regulations at all times.
  • Engage with guests to promote sales, recommend drinks, and enhance their overall experience in both fine dining settings and lively nightclub atmospheres.
  • Manage time effectively during busy hours by prioritizing tasks such as serving drinks, restocking supplies, and assisting with catering or banquet events when needed.
  • Monitor guest behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with legal regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during large events or banquets, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
  • Keep accurate records of sales transactions, perform basic math calculations for cash register balancing, and handle cashiering duties professionally.
  • Stay informed about current beverage trends, brewing techniques, and food industry standards to continually elevate service quality.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a bartender in restaurant, retail food service, or nightlife environments; fine dining or banquet experience is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively in fast-paced settings like nightclubs or upscale restaurants.
  • Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple tables or bar stations smoothly during peak hours.
  • Knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
  • Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and retail math calculations related to sales transactions.
  • Experience working in the food industry or hospitality sector is preferred; brewing knowledge is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a lively energy that enhances guest experiences.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, or special event days as required.
