Position Overview:
As the Executive Sous Chef, you'll serve as a key leader within our culinary team, partnering closely with the Executive Chef to oversee all kitchen operations. You'll play a vital role in maintaining consistency, quality, and efficiency across service, while supporting and developing the back-of-house team. This position requires strong leadership, organizational, and culinary skills, as well as the ability to foster collaboration between the kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
Responsibilities:
- Lead daily kitchen operations and ensure all culinary standards, recipes, and restaurant guidelines are followed.
- Supervise and support Sous Chefs and line staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Maintain strict quality control to uphold food presentation, freshness, and consistency across all dishes.
- Oversee inventory management, ordering, and cost control to achieve food and labor targets.
- Assist the Executive Chef with administrative duties, including scheduling, payroll submissions, and invoice processing.
- Ensure proper station setup and readiness prior to each service.
- Uphold and enforce all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols in compliance with health regulations.
- Serve as a key point of communication between the culinary team and front-of-house leadership.
- Support training, coaching, and development of kitchen staff to ensure growth and excellence within the team.
