Requirements

Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required, while an associate degree in business or a related field is preferred.

Experience: Prior experience in a customer service role or administrative position is a plus but not mandatory.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Customer Service: Demonstrated ability to provide friendly, patient, and professional service to clients.

Problem-Solving: Ability to handle challenging situations with a calm and positive demeanor.

Organization: Strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Computer Skills: Proficiency with general office software and ability to quickly learn and use industry-specific software.

Responsibilities

Client Interaction: Greet customers as they enter the office, ensuring a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.

Information Management: Assist clients in updating their information and answering basic policy-related inquiries.

Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule appointments for clients with insurance agents as needed.

Documentation Support: Help clients complete necessary paperwork and documentation.

Phone Handling: Manage incoming calls, direct calls to appropriate team members, and respond to service requests efficiently.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with insurance agents and other team members to ensure seamless customer service.

Continuous Learning: Stay informed about GEICO's offerings and policies to better assist clients.
