Exterior Plant Technician/Installer

Tropical Creations is a leading provider of interior/ exterior scape plant design, installation and maintenance services. We create biophilic green environments that transform indoor and outdoor business spaces into thriving, vibrant living areas.

We are seeking a reliable, self-motivated Exterior Plant Technician/Installer to join our team. This role involves traveling between commercial customer locations to maintain and install exterior seasonal planters and install Holiday decorations. The ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail, basic plant care knowledge, and enjoys working independently in various outdoor environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to assigned customer locations according to route schedule thru the Charlotte Metro area.
  • Install and maintain exterior container planters and plants
  • Replace or rotate plants as needed to ensure high-quality presentation
  • Clean and maintain plant containers, beds, and surrounding areas
  • Install Holiday Decorations
  • Accurately document services performed at each location via cell phone app
  • Communicate with customers and office team as needed regarding plant health or site conditions
  • Adhere to safety protocols and company policies
  • Maintain company equipment in clean and functional condition

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record and Personal Vehicle required
  • Previous plant care or landscaping experience preferred (paid training available)
  • Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions year round
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 40 lbs, walking, and standing for extended periods
  • Strong time management and communication skills
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently

2 weeks Paid Training

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $1, $1,650.00 per month

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
