Great Strides is one of the original providers of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services in the St Louis area and we are BCBA owned and operated  Our focus is providing premier quality ABA services that are tailored to the needs and learning style of each child we serve.  At Great Strides we utilize a natural environment teaching approach and believe that children learn best through play. Staffing ratios are 1:1 but therapy is conducted at the individual and small group level in our clinic setting. 

The hours for this position are between the hours of 8:00 am and 6:30 pm.  We do not work nights or weekends.  

Qualifications & Skills 

• Must be Board Certified Behavior Analyst and have Missouri state-license as behavior
  analyst and meet state specific requirements
• At least one year of experience utilizing applied behavior analysis and providing behavior
  services to clients with autism in in-home and/or clinic-based settings
•  Leadership skills
• Communication skills
•  Ability to delegate and hold supervised staff accountable for results
• Ability to counsel employees, recognize talent, reward good performance
• Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Oversee the full range of ABA treatment services including assessment, programming,
  progress monitoring, program modification, parent training, care coordination with other
  providers, and insurance authorization. Ensures all standards of care are followed per
  state and insurance guidelines.
• Provide clinical recommendations regarding treatment intensity, modality, and transition/
  exit planning, in collaboration with parents and other stake holders, with the emphasis on
  delivering developmentally appropriate and socially valid client outcomes.
• Provide client-specific training and supervision to all levels of clinical staff to ensure high
  quality treatment services.
• Supervise others with a focus on developing supervisees' independent clinical skills,
  problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills, and fulfillment of certification requirements.
• Complete all administrative tasks in a timely fashion, including but not limited to
  generating reports, completing insurance reviews, and completing forms to ensure
  appropriate funding for client services and staff management.
• Provide administrative supervision, support, and performance feedback to assigned
  technician level staff.
• Oversee supervision of clinic functions as assigned which includes: supervising client drop
  off, scheduling staff lunches, providing clinical support to technicians as needed,
  supervising clinic cleaning, triage administrative issues as they arise and coordinate with
  Clinical Director as needed.
• Assist with the development and implementation of staff training. Conduct training as
  needed.
• Serve as a supervisory staff member within a collaborative team environment taking on
  other duties as necessary that serve to promote the success of the program and its clients.
• Be active in maintaining the efficacy and integrity of the organization within the
  goals/philosophy of the organization; strive to maintain the philosophy, and mission of the
  program to the highest capacity.

• Pass criminal record background check
• Submit to drug or alcohol testing, if requested
• Current certification for CPR/First Aid, or willingness to complete training if provided
• Must complete crisis intervention training as provided by Great Strides

Required Licenses or Certifications:

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)Certificate
• Missouri Behavior Analyst License (or eligible) 
• CPR/First Aid (preferred but training can be provided)
• Drivers License and proof of valid Insurance
